By joining, you become part of a statewide network of professional acupuncturists who are working together to forward the evolution of the acupuncture and East Asian medicine profession in Washington state. We work very hard to keep the overhead of running the organization down so that the majority of our financial resources can go support the work of our lobbyist and that is why membership is critical support. We must continue to defend our practice or it will be limited or encroached upon by other interests and professions who actually seek to include acupuncture under their scope after very limited training. We have successfully helped to defeat many threats to our profession over the years but only through the dedication and financial support of our members.
