Getting Involved & Connected The most effective way of creating change is getting involved yourself. Your voice matters! Even a raindrop can move a mountain. If you feel strongly about an issue or would like to contribute your time to the organization just for fun, creating or joining a committee is a great way to get involved. In this way, you can choose a level of commitment that feels appropriate to your busy lifestyle. Joining a committee is also a great first step to getting acquainted with the Board of Directors, especially if you have hopes of being nominated to run for a seat on the Board in the future.
